We are based in Western Wisconsin in the summer and the Pacific Southwest during winter months. We make trips with loads of spring nucs to a number of locations branched out from our bases, giving us a chance to see the country and meet more beekeepers!

Taking orders for Wisconsin Pick Up Spring 2024.
Nuc consists of approximately 3-4 frames of brood, 1-2 frames of feed/pollen, and laying, young, 2024 queen on five frames of good, drawn comb. Each nuc is carefully inspected for queens to be laying and nucs to be apparently disease free. Nucs come housed in sturdy, wooden transport boxes. We have found wooden transport boxes protect the bees well and can be re-used in apiaries for many seasons. Also, we will buy back the nuc transport boxes. No additional box deposit required.
Italians: The Italian variety of honeybees are well known for their docile temperament and strong spring buildup. Queens are sourced from Northern California.
Bees will be available for pick up in May. Delivery may be available. Wisconsin pick up will be coordinated individually.
